→ Book your free callHello, I’m Rosa Antunes-Casey (She/Her), a Registered Psychotherapist based in Toronto. I am passionate about supporting individuals through life’s challenges with care, understanding, and respect. I strive to create a warm and non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences, emotions, and personal growth at your own pace.
I understand that reaching out for support can feel difficult, and I believe therapy is a courageous step toward healing and greater self-awareness. My personal and professional experiences have deepened my appreciation for the vulnerability involved in change and the importance of feeling genuinely supported throughout the process.
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked extensively in education, an experience that continues to shape my therapeutic approach. This background strengthened my understanding of human development, emotional regulation, communication, and the importance of creating environments where individuals feel safe to grow and express themselves authentically. It also shaped my ability to approach each person with patience, curiosity, cultural sensitivity, and compassion.
I believe therapy is a collaborative process grounded in trust, authenticity, and self-exploration. I work with adults navigating concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, and life transitions. My hope is to provide a reflective and supportive space where you can deepen your self-understanding, build resilience, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
I look forward to supporting you as you take steps toward healing, self-discovery, and a more fulfilling life.
Whether you're navigating something specific or simply feeling overwhelmed, I offer support across a wide range of challenges.

Explore thisMy approach is client-centred, relational, and grounded in genuine connection. I believe therapy is not about “fixing” someone, but about creating space for deeper understanding, healing, resilience, and meaningful change. Every person’s experiences, strengths, and challenges are unique, so I tailor therapy to support your individual needs and goals. Drawing from a variety of psychotherapy modalities, I provide a warm, non-judgmental space where clients can explore emotional, mental, and relational challenges at their own pace.
My work involves supporting clients through self-exploration and personal growth while helping them gain greater insight, self-awareness, and connection to themselves. Together, we explore challenges from different perspectives, creating opportunities for reflection, healing, and new ways of understanding patterns and experiences. Through this process, clients often begin to feel more grounded, empowered, and confident in navigating life’s difficulties.
In our work together, I also support clients in developing healthier coping strategies and patterns that foster emotional well-being and resilience. Therapy can help uncover protective patterns and coping mechanisms that may no longer be serving you, creating space for greater self-understanding, healing, and lasting change.
A relaxed 15-minute call to see if we’re a good fit. No commitment needed — just an honest conversation.
Together we map out where you are, where you’d like to be, and what’s getting in the way.
We develop real strategies — not just coping mechanisms, but the foundation for lasting change.
The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.
I draw on multiple therapeutic frameworks and integrate them based on what best fits your needs, history, and goals.
Grounded in the belief that you are the expert of your own experience. I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered.
A practical, evidence-based approach that helps identify and shift unhelpful thoughts, behaviours, and patterns while building healthier ways of coping and responding to life's challenges.
Focuses on emotional processing and the mind-body connection. Somatic approaches help clients become more aware of how emotions, stress, and trauma are held within the body, supporting regulation and healing.
Explores how past experiences, early relationships, and unconscious patterns influence present thoughts and emotions. Inner child work supports healing wounded parts of the self with compassion and care.
Helps clients understand and work with the different “parts” within themselves in a compassionate, non-judgmental way — supporting deeper self-awareness, emotional healing, and connection to one's authentic self.
Incorporates the spiritual and deeper aspects of human experience, supporting personal growth, meaning, self-awareness, and connection to oneself and the larger world.
The first session is designed to help you feel at ease and to set us up for meaningful work together. There's no pressure — just an open, collaborative conversation.
We'll go over how therapy works, your rights, confidentiality, and answer any questions or concerns you have about the process.
I'll gently gather information about your background and what brings you in — only as much as feels comfortable for you to share at this stage.
We'll explore what you're hoping to get from therapy and where you'd like to see change. The therapeutic approach is always collaborative — your feedback matters throughout.
We'll discuss a plan that makes sense for your situation — flexible, and always open to revision as we learn more about what works for you.
Psychotherapy helps you identify the defences and coping mechanisms that are unconsciously holding you back from living the life you want to live.
