Hello, I’m Rosa Antunes-Casey (She/Her), a Registered Psychotherapist based in Toronto. I am passionate about supporting individuals through life’s challenges with care, understanding, and respect. I strive to create a warm and non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences, emotions, and personal growth at your own pace.

I understand that reaching out for support can feel difficult, and I believe therapy is a courageous step toward healing and greater self-awareness. My personal and professional experiences have deepened my appreciation for the vulnerability involved in change and the importance of feeling genuinely supported throughout the process.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked extensively in education, an experience that continues to shape my therapeutic approach. This background strengthened my understanding of human development, emotional regulation, communication, and the importance of creating environments where individuals feel safe to grow and express themselves authentically. It also shaped my ability to approach each person with patience, curiosity, cultural sensitivity, and compassion.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process grounded in trust, authenticity, and self-exploration. I work with adults navigating concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, and life transitions. My hope is to provide a reflective and supportive space where you can deepen your self-understanding, build resilience, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.

My approach is client-centred, relational, and grounded in genuine connection. I believe therapy is not about “fixing” someone, but about creating space for deeper understanding, healing, resilience, and meaningful change. Every person’s experiences, strengths, and challenges are unique, so I tailor therapy to support your individual needs and goals. Drawing from a variety of psychotherapy modalities, I provide a warm, non-judgmental space where clients can explore emotional, mental, and relational challenges at their own pace.

My work involves supporting clients through self-exploration and personal growth while helping them gain greater insight, self-awareness, and connection to themselves. Together, we explore challenges from different perspectives, creating opportunities for reflection, healing, and new ways of understanding patterns and experiences. Through this process, clients often begin to feel more grounded, empowered, and confident in navigating life’s difficulties.

In our work together, I also support clients in developing healthier coping strategies and patterns that foster emotional well-being and resilience. Therapy can help uncover protective patterns and coping mechanisms that may no longer be serving you, creating space for greater self-understanding, healing, and lasting change.

Yes! I offer secure, confidential video sessions so you can access support from the comfort of your home, wherever you are in Ontario. In-person options may also be available — reach out to discuss.
What if I've never tried therapy before? +
That's completely okay — many of my clients come to therapy for the first time. The free consultation is designed to feel low-key and informative, so you can ask anything and get a real sense of what sessions are like.
